Chester County Committee Areas of Focus:

  • Global Warming and the many areas we can have an impact on it, including: transportation (encouraging hybrids, public transit, walking/hiking/biking paths), clean energy (encouraging wind, solar, other renewables, and conservation through owner actions), purchasing locally to reduce transportation impacts, and recycling and reusing to offset manufacturing outputs.
  • Green Living issues including: buying locally grown and organic produce, initiating recycling efforts in the home, borough, and townships, practicing energy conservation at home, work, and business, and understanding and applying smart growth
